Andaman Weather

The weather in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands is generally warm, tropical, and pleasant throughout the year. The islands experience a tropical maritime climate, which means temperatures remain fairly stable with warm days, mild evenings, and fresh sea breezes. The capital city, Port Blair, usually sees temperatures ranging between 24°C and 32°C, making it comfortable for beach activities and sightseeing most of the year.

There are mainly three seasons in Andaman. The winter season from November to February is considered the most pleasant time to visit, with cooler breezes and clear skies that are perfect for outdoor activities and island tours. The summer season from March to May is slightly warmer but still enjoyable because the sea breeze keeps the temperature comfortable for travelers exploring beaches and water activities.

The monsoon season from June to September brings moderate to heavy rainfall across the islands. During this period, short tropical showers are common, and the sea conditions can sometimes become rough, which may affect ferry schedules or water sports. However, even during monsoon, the temperature usually stays warm and the landscape becomes lush and green.

Overall, the Andaman Islands offer a tropical climate that allows visitors to enjoy beaches, marine life, and island adventures during most months of the year.
